Data privacy & DPDP
Dheya is a Data Fiduciary under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act. We collect only the personal data needed to run a mentoring engagement, retain it only as long as our policy allows, and never sell or rent it to third parties. Mentees and parents may request access, correction, or erasure at any time.
Mentor code of ethics
Every Dheya mentor agrees to a written code covering confidentiality, conflicts of interest, scope of practice, escalation, and the primacy of the mentee's interest over any other party. The code is reviewed annually and signed by every active mentor.
Accreditation & training
Mentor training is delivered under a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) framework, with structured competency assessment and supervised practice before activation. RAPD interpretation is licensed only to CPD-completed mentors.
Security posture
Mentee data is stored in encrypted databases hosted in audited cloud environments. Access is role-gated, logged and reviewed. Vendor risk is assessed before any third-party processor is engaged.
Complaints & escalation
Concerns about a mentor or engagement are taken seriously. Every complaint is acknowledged within two working days, reviewed by an independent reviewer outside the mentor's reporting line, and resolved within fifteen working days.
