Privacy Notice

Dheya Career Mentors (“Dheya”, “we”, “us”) is a career-mentoring practice operating since 2006. This notice applies to this website and to the assessments, reports, and mentoring sessions we deliver as part of our programmes.

• Enquiry data. Name, email, phone, city, and the programme you asked about, when you submit an enquiry, book a call, or download a resource.
• Programme data. Age, class/year, academic stream, responses to psychometric assessments, self-reported goals, and notes recorded by your mentor during sessions.
• Account data. Login identifiers if you sign in to a Dheya assessment or dashboard, and role assignments for institutional partners.
• Website telemetry. Pages viewed, referring source, device and browser characteristics, and search terms typed into our site search. We redact obvious personal identifiers from search terms before storing them.

• Deliver the assessment, report, or mentoring you booked.
• Match you with a suitable mentor and share context they need to prepare.
• Respond to enquiries, schedule sessions, and send programme communications.
• Improve our content, assessments, and website — using aggregated, non-identifying analytics.
• Meet legal, tax, and safeguarding obligations.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use assessment responses for advertising.

A large share of our programmes serve students aged 13–18. Enrolments for minors are made by a parent or legal guardian, and the guardian is the primary point of contact for consent, records, and deletion requests.

We share information only with the parties needed to run the service you asked for: your assigned mentor, our assessment and hosting providers, our payment processor, and — for institutional programmes — the school/college or employer that has sponsored your participation. A current list of processors we rely on is available on request.

We keep programme records for as long as the mentoring relationship is active, and for a limited period afterwards so we can respond to alumni follow-ups, produce longitudinal reports, and meet legal obligations. Enquiry data that does not convert into a booking is retained for a shorter window. Concrete durations for your programme are set out in your programme agreement; write to us if you would like the current schedule.

• Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
• Ask us to delete your account and programme data, subject to legal retention.
• Withdraw analytics consent at any time via the on-site banner or your account settings.

Requests are handled by the contact below. We may need to verify identity before acting on a request that involves programme records for a minor.

We use access controls, encrypted transport, and role-scoped permissions on our internal systems. No system is perfectly secure; if you believe an account has been compromised, contact us immediately at the address below.

When we make material changes to this notice we will update the “last updated” date at the top of the page and, where appropriate, notify programme participants directly.
