The Future of Work Lab — we build the student, not the résumé.

Work is being rewritten by AI faster than any syllabus can track. Schools respond by telling children which existing jobs to chase — optimising for a labour market that is already dissolving. The one career asset automation can't take is self-knowledge. Kaarya is a 7-year, in-school Future of Work Lab for Grades 6–12: WHO before WHAT, identity first, so every child walks out knowing the work that is theirs to do.

Who this is for

  • CSR heads and foundation programme managers funding education at scale
  • NGO and implementation partners looking for a complementary, co-deliverable school programme
  • School leaders and principals seeking a real, multi-year career-development spine
  • Educators and informed parents who want pedagogy they can trust

What it is

Not a workshop. Not an app. An operating system for a school.

Roles change; nature doesn't. Kaarya sequences the two questions — 'who am I?' and 'what should I do?' — across seven years, never collapsing them. Grades 6–9 build self-knowledge; Grades 10–12 build the bridge to the world of work. स्वभाव → स्वधर्म — inherent nature into purpose-aligned work, in plain, universal language.

  • The 7-year curriculum — 168 core sessions across Grades 6–12, plus deepening activities and an entrepreneurship track
  • The physical toolkit — workbooks, card decks, posters and three original games (Jaal, Sampoorna, Sutra)
  • The operating system — a certified coordinator in every school, quarterly Dheya supervision, and access to a 6,500-mentor network
  • The Future of Work Thread — a spine that also asks 'will my work exist?' (Invent a Career for 2050, automation-exposure work, emerging-vs-evergreen horizons)
  • 199+ learning experiences across nine activity types — from Self-Discovery to Transition & Launch
  • Four-dimensional measurement — career clarity, self-awareness, pathway confidence, network density; baseline to endline for every student

How it works

A calm, sequenced method — not another platform.

01

6 · Wonder → 9 · Discover

The self-knowledge years. Grades 6–9 build the child before the labour market gets a chance to define them — noticing, exploring, and knowing oneself precisely.

02

10 · Direction → 12 · Drive

The bridge to the world of work. Grades 10–12 turn self-knowledge into a chosen direction, a specific plan, and a prepared first move — without losing the person underneath.

03

One MoU. One coordinator. One school year.

That's all it takes to begin. Schools never recruit, vet or train mentors — Dheya supplies the network. Thirty days from MoU to launch, then a rhythm that runs for years.

Outcomes we design for

Tangible movement — measured, not promised.

From a 5% national baseline to 91% career clarity — measured every student, baseline to endline

A written identity statement, an aligned direction, a first-year plan, and a named mentor for every child

A school that runs a real career spine for years — not a two-hour session before the exam deadline

Aggregate impact dashboards for CSR and foundation partners — individual student data never exposed

Kaarya → Kaaryam continuity: the school stage flows into Dheya's livelihood platform on the same person_id

A defensible category — future-of-work identity development — that no coaching factory can replicate
